Meet Our Board
Ann Justus
Founder
A native of Houston, Ann Justus has owned a company in the catering industry for nearly 30 years. After volunteering at various nonprofits addressing homelessness and hunger, she earned a nonprofit management certificate from the University of Texas at Austin in 2019.
As a caterer by trade, Ann knew that there had to be a way to take good food that would be headed to landfills and get it to people in need. She founded Harvest and Hope that same year and thoroughly enjoys working on new programs using rescued food to provide meals as well as education and employment opportunities.
When not working with the organizations that Harvest and Hope serves, she loves reading, spending time outdoors as well as hanging out with her four adult children whom she thinks are just the coolest humans on earth.
