Food Rescue

Saving nourishing food from landfills and getting it to those who can make use of it is at the core of the Harvest and Hope mission.

Harvest and Hope Friends Fridge

Inspired by similar actions in New York and Chicago, Harvest and Hope is working on bringing Friends Fridges to Houston and surrounding areas.

We are currently looking for youth groups, schools, community groups to partner with who will adopt a community fridge.

Our hope is to have a Harvest and Hope Friends Fridge wherever there is a need – lots to do!! Please reach out to us if you have group that may want to help. Also, let us know if you know of any fridges that are to be donated.

Rescued Food Flipping Classes

Harvest and Hope partners with organizations in the community not only to donate rescued food but also to help those organizations learn tasty ways to make use of these nourishing ingredients.

Job Training…

in the Food Service and Hospitality Industry for Ex-offenders, Homeless and At-Risk Youth

The food service industry and hospitality industry offer abundant opportunities for employment – a great industry to get those in need back on their feet. Harvest and Hope not only shares rescued food resources but also life-changing career skills to make a lasting impact – that all started with rescued food.
